The Global Internship Research Program (GIRP) is an IJNGP initiative to encourage students & recent graduates across the globe to showcase their research skills in Psychology and to present them in creative content expression as per the latest APA formats. Hence, GIRP was founded as a way to provide a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in research & content involving various aspects of Psychology.

Requirements

Psychology student or graduate below the age of 24.

Minimum research experience & understanding of APA format (7th ed.).

Able to commit two hours minimum, Monday to Saturday.

1. How long is the term of the internship?
The internship period will be three months long, which can be extended depending on the overall performance and project.
2. How many hours do I have to work?
A minimum of two hours of work, Monday to Saturday, is a requirement. However, the timings of work are flexible. The work will be assigned to you before and you will be given a submission date.
3. Will I get credit for the work I do?
Yes, whatever content is worked by you, whether it is for a blog, a book, an article or any other work, your name will be mentioned for it.
4. Can I still apply if I do not have any research experience?
This internship program is based on research work, hence a minimum research experience like college assignments done by you will also be accepted as an experience. The work you have done need not be published.
5. Do I have to pay for the internship?
No, we do not charge any kind of fee before or during the term of the internship.
6. Do I get a stipend for the work?
No, you would not be getting any stipend during the internship term.
7. Do I get a certificate?
Yes, you will be given a digital certificate and letter of recommendation, which can be posted to your address on demand.
8. I do not have a Psychology Background. Can I still apply?
No, our minimum requirement is psychology bachelor students. We do not consider applications of students from other backgrounds.
